i'm trying to follow the electrical but I keep getting confused how it's setup and working. Maybe my mind is fried. I've traced it a couple times and it's not making sense.
Two press switches, relay, solenoid and pump.
It seems as soon as the car is turned on the relay is triggered due to the position of press switch 1, which then turn on the pump, which activates press switch 2 at 0.3bar.
So basically the pump is flowing as soon as the car is running?
Then when 0.7bar of boost is achieved, press switch 1 activates, which de-triggers the relay(turning off pump) and turns on the solenoid and pump if 0.3bar still remains in the pump output line.
This can't be right.
If I reverse the press switch configuration then: When the car is turned on the solenoid and pump are activated due to position of press switch 2 and the diode direction, then when 0.4bar is reached on pump out the pump and solenoid would turn off (??seems kinda cyclic?). Now when 0.7bar is reached in the manifold, the pess switch triggers the relay turning on the pump.
This can't be right either? The solenoid would have no purpose and the pump would be cycling. What exactly is fig 8, at first I thought it was a bypass valve but I'm starting to wonder give when the solenoid could be activated w/ the wiring setup?
