The stock amm is good for about 215 hp at the ragged edge of accurate control. Per Ragnar, stock ecu is programmed for the amm rating of 215 hp (5V). With chip and larger inj's, control range can be extended using the 2D wot map (to continue to increase duty cycle with load at each rpm entry, with amm output maxed).

With 2.4, fuel cut will limit flow before hitting amm limit. fuel cut is likely based on volts at each rpm column, and don't know if load/boost maps extend beyond these limits. Ragnar?

Speedparts claims 215 hp with stock inj and fuel pressure and their chip (87-93 bosch 16VT +kat), but doubt this claim for us spec, as it implies bsfc at .39 with inj's at 100%. bsfc should be at least .45 for turbo.

Custom big AMM and big inj's ... this is possible. but would require:

1) consistent connections, supply volts, burn off.

2) flow test stock amm, for very non-linear flow vs volt curve, as used by ecu.

3) supplier calibrates/maps new big amm, based on say 32# inj, with each flow value for each voltage point scaled up the same %, vs stock amm.((This is NOT the same as just adding a resistor to amm output, or even the arc1 or acr2 signal conditioners. It is 'possible' to recalibtate properly with the 2D map box from same company))

4) some iterations to get idle right, and wide band 02 tests to properly dial in.

but, still have 6k rev limit, and will still have boost/fuel-cut limits with 2.4 that limit max hp.

-----------

If no chip for US 2.4 is available, the concept of swapping in a volvo 2.4 LH system (2.3L-T ... ecu, inj, and amm) should be checked out. Saab and Volvo 2.4lh use same number of pins (35?) in harness, but slight pin location variations, iirc. volvo used an amm rated at 300 hp, and many volvo owners easily run 250 hp on stock inj's.

search amm for my other notes on this.

-----------

what is hp target ( or 5500 boost target ) with your teo5-16G ?
