Have you really had to replace your bpv several times? You are the only person so far that I have heard of that has done this. I have 65,000 miles on my 1996 900 SE, and mine was fine. I replaced it with a Greddy Type S atmospheric. It wasn't malfunctioning or anything, I just wanted the sound of an atmospheric dump. Also did the Viggen intercooler swap at the same time. Turbo spool up is much quicker, gets to the the far end of the red quickly and stays there. I doubt it has anything to do with the dump valve though.

Basically if your BPV craps out, replace it with an abbott. That would be my suggestion. Unless you wanna sound like a race car, then get the Type-S.
