I had Viking Auto install my 3 bar map sensor on the car this past Tuesday. Some of the tits on the map sensor had to be removed to allow the harness to work correctly. After the tits were removed Jay of Viking Auto installed the wires like the previous map sensor and turned it on. The car worked just as normal but I've gained one mpg. The maximum sustained boost in the car is also at 23 psi with no changes to the wategate. The indash boost gauge is down though and looks like a stock boost gauge under full boost. Before when I had the boost up to 25psi the boost needle was off the red and just sitting in the black now at 23psi it is barely in the red. Somehow the indash boost gauge is linked to the new map sensor but how I do not know. The air to fuel ratio I'm unsure of and plan on doing more testing with it over the weekend but I'am confident that is it within normal levels.
