First I cut the sidewalls all the way around w/ a steak knife. Remove tread.
Then with a pry bar and somebody standing on the sidewall, break the tire bead from
the rim on one side. Use soap or WD-40 to help things slip around.
With the bead pulled inboard, use a dremel and cutoff wheel or equivalent and
sever the tire bead wire. Cut through remainder. Remove bead.
Repeat w/ other side.
It's a messy job, pretty tough. I was planning on doing 4 this way and gave up after 2!
