We have done Aquamist water injection on the T7's both on an Aero and a V6.
Both cars show marked improvement especially in the warm weather. The Aero and the V6 both stay at max boost no matter how long you stay on the power or how hot the temperature. For fluid we use a methoanl based washer fluid as here in Kansas City the weather gets below freezing. We have had not issues with check engine lights on any faults. The benefit is greatest when you raise the boost. Water injection does cool the charge but it also is an antidetonat, adding as much as 6 point to the octane rating. As the gas avalible in the Us is far below what makes these engine happy water injection is a big plus. To date we have not done the T8 but by summer we will. Water is the best chose unless you need to guard against freezing or need more fuel.
The is no replacement for quaility fuel but we have run classic 900s on 87 octane at 25psi boost with out detonation.
One of the secrets to a good water injection system is that it needs to vary flow rate with engine requirement to receive the most from it. On and off systems do help but they do not do as well as one the increases flow with engine load.
