Today I finally tweaked the APC box in my '87 9000T. I wanted to turn to account the 112 octane of the LPG I'm running on (many European cars run LPG to save on fuel costs, and to get rid of all the FI (injectors, AMM...) that bother our cars).As I wasn't sure I would go for the soldering way, I just turned the P & F pots, I wasn't that exigent.
I found that both pots were in 4 o'clock position, and I turned P to 6 o'clock, and F to 9, as suggested in Dave N's site.
Went for a ride and I noticed that the needle touched for the first time in its life the red, at 3500, then, at 4000, it started tapering down, until 2/3 yellow at 5500. Not bad, but still had time to tamper. I turned the P to 8 o'clock, as suggested not to do in Dave's site. Now the top boost holds until 5000, then it tapers very slightly.
So, what can I say? I'm very satisied with boost taper, but not so much with top boost. I wanted a deep red. I think I'll try to turn pots up a little more, for example to 11(F) and 10(P) o'clock, if it won't be enough I'll solder some resistances...
The only problem now is that roads are too narrow to test the car properly!

Any thoughts? ideas? comments? experiences?
