Thanks - I'll probably wait until the stock bushings are a little more worn before I replace those. Still have factory alignment so I'd kind of like to do bushings and alignment just before replacing the stock Pirelli P6000's. That will most likely only be 5K miles more at best.
The car is definitely different. Just cruising through my neighborhood at 20MPH I could feel that the car turned faster - basicly responds the way it should to steering input rather than the mushy delay I was used to. When you get to compare the parts coming off to the parts going on it's a no-brainer that it's a better setup. Funny that the rubber donut has a big fat GM imprinted on it! 8^( This upgrade alone, had it been done at the factory, could have "rescued" the Viggen from some of the harsher reviews it received on "torque" steer and most likely improved sales quite a bit. The "fighting a snake" feel I used to get when punching it in 2nd gear is completely gone, and I'm sure with a new set of rubber the car will handle even better.
I think the next upgrade will be the SAS bar since I'm now convinced that if I can install what I did yesterday, with some decent jack stands that should be "easy". It also appears to be a very cost effective upgrade given the bang for the buck.
