many thanks to Kevin K for your suggestion on a) what company to go with and b) what turbo to mod.
Awesome spool up, dead solid top end boost. No taper, no waiver, nuthin' but boost. I'm sure the AID and water play a factor there, but I had that in mind when I got this turbo. I have it at 24 psi right now, and I think it can safely handle 30+. Too bad my pistons/tranny can't.
In turbo land, you get what you pay for, IMHO. Go for the big 16G and thrust bearing upgrade. turbochargers.com claims 380 hp capability. Imagine how efficient it will be if you are only pushing it to ~300!
