you can increase the preload on the 10 psi wastegate. This will increase
the base boost and the max boost. Increasing the base boost does not
increase the max boost with a stock system, but will with an Abbott system.
In the past, I have set my preload to get about 18-20 psi boost (just about
at the level that abbott sets the overboost limit), but for the last year or so
I have dailed it back to get about 16 psi.
If you do this preload adjustment, you must be aware that the Trionic boost control is comprimised
and that your motor is susecptable to detonation, especially in warm weather.
Also, I will never run my Aero without 93-94 octane gas while using the abbott ECU
even at the more modest 16 psi boost levels.
