Hey all,

The past few days Dave @ Lesco and I have been talking about a turbo for my 1990 SPG. We came up with a few different options for me to choose from. Unfortunatly my price range was limited to around $700. Plus the fact that my turbo is shot, and my SPG is a daily driver, which remains parked in my driveway. I don't drive it much at all in the winter anyway, so that wasn't the biggest deal.

The two choices came down to...
Mitsubishi TE05-Big 16G w/360 thrust bearing
Garrett/Nissan T3 Super 60 w/360 thrust bearing and Lesco 18psi wastegate actuator (same as SPG9's wastegate actuator)

Dave and I were both leaning towards the Mitsu, but when we found out the final price, it was way out of my price range. Dave told me the T3 would be an awesome turbo, within my price range, and it also allowed me enough extra $$$ for the upgraded wastegate actuator.

Dave has been a really great help thoughout this whole ordeal. He has gone out of his way to help me, and made sacrifices to keep the cost within my price range. If you are looking for any performance parts for your SAAB, or any DIY performance information, drop Dave an email/call. He is very friendly, and very helpful. Thanks Dave.

Thanks to everyone here on the board for your help!
I'll post results once the turbo & wastegate actuator are installed!
