Just posting this up here coz it'll be fresher - I almost missed the lower thread.
I really shouldn't say much about power below 4000. I have a T3/60 on the car, so that adds a bit of lag.
Honestly though, it's not like it's undriveable on the street. As I was saying, I've been driving mostly in the 2-3500 power band for the engine break-in, and it's more than sufficient for just putting about. I get around, round round round, not like I have to find a new strip where the kids are hip... (sorry, I'm a bit out of it from three exams in three days - and one more tomorrow - the Beach Boys just found their way into my head). Anyway, not like this range of power is bad, it's where I do most of my street driving, it's decent enough for my freeway jaunt, and I can swing by and pass people if need be. It should be like a bat out of hell from 4-7000.
The cams, if I remember right, ran me about US$150-180 for both. I sent the cores to Crower and they sent them back all done. They included cam lube and such. Just be prepared to wait a few weeks, especially at this time of year when most engine shops and such are doing up race engines for the spring. But I just took a look at their site and I think the price has increased substantially for a custom grind.
