However, many with a c900 have reported great loss of boost using anything but the OE Bougicord or Magnecore wires. I have speculated that this is because my APC is under the dash behind the firewall, while on the 900 it's up on the driver fender well, thus prone to more interference (though both Jacobs and Kingsborne claim to let out no more EFI/RFI than any OE wire including the Bougicords). Further, I would think that if the APC were prone to being affected by EMI/RFI, Saab would have put it in a metal shielded box, such as on the LH ECU, rather than a simple plastic one.
I noticed an improvement just from switching to the Jacobs wires as compared to Bougicords with only about 1.5 years of use on them. True, not really a fair comparison, but the Bougicords come with no warranty (or a year at most), while the Jacobs are lifetime. I find the Kingsborne even better, with BERU connectors on each end, and the little lip on the plug end to make it easier to pull off. Also, on my 9000, the Bougicords were too short, they always needed to be stretched to fit.
Bougicords or Kingsborne can both be had around $45 or so from IPS. The Jacobs are good wires, but I won't recommend them over the Kingsborne due to the better terminals and boots on the latter, and slightly lower price.
YMMV,
