Forge's Atmospheric Dump Valve with c900's AMM?

Hey guys
Earlier there was a post by someone at Forge here on the board, looks like it has been removed though.
The person said that the Forge Atmospheric Dump Valve would work on "all SAABs" even with AMM's, like the c900.
On the website, it states the same thing...
http://www.forgemotorsport.com/saab.asp?cat=saab&product=FMDV004
"Unlike single piston or diaphragm diverter valves, this uses counter balanced springs and dual pistons to prevent the valve from leaking air into the intake system at idle. This prevents our diverter valves suffering any of the failures associated with single piston and diaphragm type diverter valves."
Is this just hype? Or would it work? It sounds like it would work at idle, but when you let off the throttle, and it vents the air, wouldn't the AMM get confused trying to recompensate by adding more fuel, making you run rich right after the shift?
Thanks
Taylor
