Hey, just remember, as long as the car is in closed loop mode. It is functioning off lamda.. so it will increase ur fuel, then decrease, back and forth, constantly trying to keep it at the correct ratio... So often times putting bigger injectors doesn't do much, because the ecu changes the pulse time because of guess what lamda.. so anyways, as long as u run a stock ecu, it is difficult to actually make the mixture run "rich".. I have put 24 to 36 pounders on some of the cars we have built.. idling becomes an issue, and so does cold starts... also once u exceed your ecu's ability to adjust the mixture ( say you run up to 18lbs of boost) and the ecu puts the injectors at static wide open.. since they are batch fire you really do need a RRFPR.. aeromotive makes a great one, i have been very pleased with it..also a square larger fuel rail is more stable gas presure, especially since they are batch fire. anyways what i'm saying is untill u exceed your injectors limits at static wide open, only then do you need larger ones.. and reall raising the fuel pressure is not the answer.. I try to keep mine around 42 to 46 static,. no vac. anyways hope this makes some since.
