Please excuse me if I don?t get all the terms right as I?m not an expert on the whole turbo operation but I?m getting better.
Anyway I?m thinking about upgrading the turbo into my 98 900 to a t28. I already have a very good used unit to use as the core. What I?m wondering about is if I go with a full upgrade with both the larger impeller and compress will my stock injectors and fuel system be able to cover it. Speaking the guys at turbochargers.com and he said that although he didn?t know my particular car I would most likely need to increase the injectors size. That being the case he said if I didn?t want to go that rout I could just increase the impeller.
I had also spoke to the guys at forced performance and he didn?t say anything about having to increase injectors if I upgraded.
So has anyone gone this rout and if so I?d like to hear about it.
