The healey is actually my dads & he purchased it in 64 after the original owner slightly recked it. My parents then dated in it & they put it on blocks in 72 (I was 2 then) & sat untill 2001 in our garage at work. When I went to pick up my forgeline wheels I asked the owner/friend who rebuilt their healey (they race theirs in vintage racing as well as street use). After getting the phone #, we called him up & 3 days later we had it at a local healey/MG/mini shop. They put penetrating oil in the pistons & another 3 days later, the motor started righ up :o) So it OEM with 40K miles.
Anyways, I always thought saabs were quirky, WOW was I wrong! Then aagain, I havent been in a saab older then 84 :o(
It is fun to drive just not for anything over 50 miles :o)
