who cares what everyone else says?
what matters is what you did and why you did it. as well as did it meet your intentions. if so, no worries.
you and i are in a different area than most here. very few have gone this direction w/og900's. what this gives you more than anything else is a thorough understanding of how the engine operates and how any change impacts the running.
mine is coming along quite well so far. i am running 15 psi now. but the clutch i put in about 6 mos ago is now slipping. even passing in 5th gear on the highway results in slipping. and i even have the boost come on very gradually.
interestingly enough, i went for massashusetts inspection 2 days ago. i was thinking i would need to find someone to "get" me through the emissions section. but i ran through the entire, full blown test and passed. keep in mind this is tuning by the stock O2 sensor hooked to an a/f gauge for normal driving and the wide band on the dyno, and...no cat....:) no too shabby for a 1st timer....
