Eric mentioned that INTRAX usually has some of the lowest fitments around and I am using them on my 88' 9000T. Going lower though as Dean says is simply asking for trouble. I've been there before some years back with a VW Jetta GLX I use to own. I used ITRAX them but they were the Super Sport versions and they were 2.5 in drop. Looked cool and rode cool on 40 series tires but within 6 months I had bent 2 of the rims and cracked a third. Could using 45 or 50 series tire have helped? I only know that something had to give and I went back to the entire stock rims tire combo. I kept the springs and the Bilsteins on the car and never bent anything after that. So if you gonna do it, and you sound like you are just make a point to stay around 45 series tires or better and you should be fine. That said, I don't know who makes springs for SAAB that drop it that low though. All the INTRAX Springs for SAAB that I've seen are 1.5 or so.
See Ya,
Phil
