The design of the SAS bar does nothing to decouple the axle twisting moments from the bolted joint. This causes the mounting tang to want to twist against the axle fabrication. This causes clicks and creaks. The bolts need to be high strength and torqued tight. Loctite blue suggested. The bolted joint needs to be free of paint to resist this movement and the shear strenght of the paint is not up to the task and paint will yield and move.

So you might not ever be free of some noises. Anyone else able to speak to that.

The rear axle becomes very much less independant as a semi-live axle normally is. If you get a solid bump on one wheel, this is transmitted to both sides of the vehicle and is quite noticeable. If you want a mushy ride, you want the stock sway bar. If you were to use stiffer springs and stock swaybar, you would maintain more rear wheel independance, but every wheel will then produce more road feel. Stiffer springs to reduce body roll by two mechanisms. The stiffer springs increase the body roll spring rate, thats obvious. The lowering springs lower the center of gravity and this reduces the roll forces on the chassis in any given turn dynamic. If you fix the front end with urethane bushings and plastic rack mounts, or add the VRK, you will find a whole new window on turning and you can develop some very high corning forces. So with a VRK or equivalent, you will want something to reduce body roll so that you can explore the turning ability of the front end.

Springs will also improve acceleration and braking by controlling weight transfer dynamics. Shocks can help with this a bit. A sway bar has no effect on these situations.

Stock springs with Koni's can work quite well if you don't want to sacrifice the ride or ground clearance. Lowering springs often need Koni's to control things.

Otherwise, you will want to live with it, noises or not.
