What is the price on the Koni's? Maybe I can make the $200 gap smaller :o)
I am not familiar with the Bilsteins on your car however usually they have a much firmer ride then the Koni's. I am sure others have more info on the topic.
Eibach also has shocks for your car which are much less $$$$ then the Koni's. The Eibach pro system I sell for about the same price as simply the Koni's. I have not sold the eibach shocks to go along with a different manufacturers springs thus I do not have any info on what it feels like. This option might be cheaper then the bilstein route.
That being said, I have intrax/koni on my brothers 98 SET (eibach was not available) & the car rides VERY well! Not harsh at all & GREATLY improved the handling from OEM!!
