If you want to use it in a C900, you'll probably have to cut a notch in the hinge loop (for lack of a better expression) on the APC box to let the connector seat properly.
The hinge loop is the notch on the box where you put the hook of the wiring harness connector. You'll understand when you try to install it. I tried to swap a 9k APC box into my '89 SPG and found this very problem. Electronically, it works ok, but the 9k APC box gave me lower boost - just needs some tweaking.
