I would start with the suspension. The power of the Viggen, as my wife refers to it, is already pretty good. Getting that power to the ground is another matter. Before you do any ECU upgrade I would add the VRK, an SAS sway bar and set the toe at 0 - 1 mm. Good tires should also be added. Bridgstone SO-3 if you will run summer tires. This will vastly improve handling and vastly reduce or eliminate torque steer caused by the elastic front end. Once this is done, if you feel the need for more power, it will be usable. As to the ECU, it sounds like the Speedparts with a Saab Viggen sport cat back or the cat back sold by Talifiero with its stage II would give the most bang for the buck. So far the Abbott has not proved workable on US cars.
