Cams:
85 cams w/ less lift on every other lobe(1st,3rd,5th,7th), will cost a loss of power on you car, you cylinder head is already casted w/ a lower port ceiling on every other intake port (1st,3rd,5th,7th). Adding an 85 cam to your car would be like the anti porting and polishing almost!!
2.1cams provide a better lower end for the larger ported 2.1L manifold and cylinderhead. The exhaust cam is the same as your current turbo cam so the power curve is very similar. The 2.1 intake cam has a smaller duration and b/c of it's lobe profile causes a smaller LSA and the intake valve to close earlier. The combination produces a bit more lower down torque b/c of the lsa and slight increase in actual compression ratio from the intake valve closing earlier. When I switched from a 2.1 intake cam to a turbo intake, my cr dropped about 25psi. W/ a larger turbo that suffers from lag, the cam should slightly help spool the turbo up faster. I believe Brad is a big supporter of the 2.1 cams for the 2.1L manifold/cylhead w/ t3 combo b/c of driveability.
