I got the chip through Nick Taliaferro at Taliaferro Saab. http://taliaferrosaab.com/

They are importing Speedparts things. He is currently trying to help me diagnose this issue. The chip is supposed to idle like stock, lean a bit in the mid-range, and enrichen the top end, as well as extend the rpm cut limit.

I have many, many mods on my car, and the chip is supposed to be for a "stage I" level of change from stock - which probably means a 3 bar regulator, intake, maybe exhaust. However, in principle, the characteristics of the chip seem like a good jump off point that can be tweaked in other ways.

With that said, it may well indeed be doing all those things, except for raising the rpm limit, which I really was looking forward to. I can't tell for sure because my Aquamist system is not currently functioning due to some wiring problems of my doing, and it has been too damn cold in my driveway here in PA to fix that. So, I can't really give it more than half throttle because I don't like high-boost detonation and I have the engine set up with the water injection in mind...

Hopefully, I'll get these two issues solved and then I'll post results.
