Pyrometer Installed

Installed an autometer pyrometer on the manifold by drilling and tapping the bolt in the manifold. Kit came with a fitting that the probe mounts to using a tightening bolt. Fairly simply instill aside from the grunt work of tapping the bolt to 1/8 npt.
Out of all the gauges I have installed (02, oil pressure, volt, boost, fuel pressure) this one has been the most fun to moniter. You get immediate feedback on what is going on with the engine.
Notice that I am getting 1000-1200 degrees at normal cruising. Full runs at boost will drive the temps up to the limits of the gauge (1600 degrees F.) Probably leaning out given that timing is good and amm seems to be functional. Car is wicked fast but APC holds boost down to the 15-16 psi range at wot.
Any good information on what is normal for our engines?
