It's not that hard to do but will take a couple of hrs.
What I did was remove the grill and seperate the chrome part from the blk plastic part attached to the rear. You'll have to cutout all the fins in the blk plastic but don't destroy the frame. On mine I left the fins attached where the saab 'TURBO' emblem goes so cut around them and just leave that small part of the fins in there (if you have thta emblem). Once you get that far you can go further if you like and sand down the grill and color match it to the car if you like(I did that). I also took the time to fill in the words 'SAAB' located in the center of my grill with some body filler and once that was complete I just painted it.
Now you just need to cut out the mesh to match up with the plastic frame that you have. Don't cut it too small though, just leave a little extra around the edges so that the mesh is just slightly larger than the blk frame.
Now for me putting it all back together was the toughest part because those littte pins that hold the black part to the chrome part had kinda broke when I took it apart. I was luckly enough though to have only broken 2 of them. So the meash goes in betwen the black frame and the chrome part (in my case that part's painted/color matched) Just like a sandwich got it?
Your done! enjoy......
See Ya,
Phil
