I went by to pick their braines & this is what I found out.
1) zero cutting would be required anywhere on your car. The IC would fit between the tow hooks
2) AC system does not need to be removed
3) powdercoating pipes is a option for probably $50 ish,
4) price, grrrrrr, ....... They told me their normal price is $850 for the kit. Doing a group but a wopping 5% discount is all I/we would get which I think is a complete joke!!!!!! However, if several (I think 5+) kits were purchased the price would be possibly $100-150 less. Definantly not as good of price as what I was expecting to get however the kit would include everything to mount the IC to a C900 be it airflow equippped or with the OEM bumpers.
The majority of the cost is in the IC itself, the plumbng is cheap & easy to do. The size of the pipes would be 2 in before the IC & 2.5 in after the IC.
I am not sure where to go from here. Possibly if people are still interested drop me a email & I can pass the info on to the group as it comes? I probably will not be able to take my SPG in to the shop for probably a month (to many bills to pay for a FMIC now) which pushes this back to March sometime.
