8.5 width is TOO WIDE, WILL NOT WORK, YOU"LL HAVE PROBLEMS.
7.5 would work just fine, that' sabout the most width you're gonna get away with. Don't believe me, look at the rear trailinng arm and the space you have between it and the current 7.5 width rims you're already runny. How much excess space do you see in there? I'll bet it's less than 1/2 inch. While the newer 9K's will tolerate a slightly larger rims than the older version, it's only slightly and 8.5 wide rims are not within those limits.
35 series tires = bent tims in my book.
