Performance-wise, that is. It is a tight fit, though. Both the radiator
and condensor are right up against the IC. And the end-tank on
the drivers' side actually bulges the vertical member of the radiator
support. Also, being all aluminum, it's a bit heavier than the stock
IC. I've never seen what it looks like, internally. And I've never
taken measurements of the actual intake temperatures - but I
have a feeling they're significantly cooler than with the stock unit.
I noticed slightly higher boost pressure, so the flow's improved, too.
It's a very substantial, well-made intercooler that allows one to
retain a very stock look and still keep the AC functional. I'm very
happy with KJ and would recommend it to anyone that has a stock
or modified 9000.
