I have used KYB gas adjust shocks/struts on three cars. They are on my 91 900 turbo right now. I think they are a good shock for the money and are very sporty (stiff). They will definetly sharpen up the steering/handling but at some expense of ride. If you plan on using the stock springs I think they are a good choice but with lowering spring I suspect they would be bone jarring. I will be replacing mine with tokiko shocks when I install the intrax springs. I would welcome the KYB on my 2002 9-3 vs the stock shocks. For reliability, I have had the rear KYB shocks fail on my nissan 300zx after 1 year but the shocks (no laber)were replaced at no charge. That gives them a failure rate on 2 in 14.
