Well, unfortunatly, it's true

I ordered my Speedparts ECU fuel chip from Taliferro about 2.5 weeks ago, and I was told they carry chips for any c900, any year, etc. I was a little concerned when they told me this because I know all the difficulties with the 90 SPG ECU and it's EGR system, but I went ahead and sent in the money order anyway.

Today I talked with Nick from Taliferro and he confirmed that the chips for the 90 SPG (ends in 582) aren't availavle anywhere to his knowledge. He said they checked with several manufacturers from Sweden.

So to all those with 90 900T/SPG's there are two options you can do ECU wise...
-leave it the way it is
-get an ECU from a 91-92 900T/SPG or 93 TCV then buy the appropriate ECU chip from Taliferro and put it in that new ECU. the ECU will swap right in to your old harness, and the newer ECU's have been 'rumored' to correct some fuel issues even in it's stock form.

Nick was really honest, and great to deal with. He's sending me back the $$$ with no problems, etc. Great bunch of guys to deal with.

Well, off to searching the junkyards for me!
