For one, the bushing like you said needs to be replace, depending on how or how much you drive - 1 to 2 years.
When a moving object is meant to move and is restricted, the force usually causes other moving or none moving parts to have a shorter life span. This is the best way I know how to explaine it.
I am not saying that the VRK is not a good idea but it should have been factored in the original Sabb design in the first place.
Think about it for a sec., if it work so well, why didn't Saab offer a solution or fix the problem to begin with. Front wheel drive and torque steer is like milk and cookies, its part of life.
