Greetings, all.

I finally got around to replacing all the vacuum and boost tubing. That done, I hooked up my newly acquired MityVac Silverline Plus with its vacuum and boost gauge to check settings. (The new Silverline Plus allows you to create and measure both pressure and vacuum.) The OEM gauge may vary from year to year, but here are my findings on an 87 900 SPG for those hoping to figure out their units.

Top of yellow, before black border, was just over 10 psi.
Mid-red: 15 psi.
End of red: 20 psi.
Peg (about 9/8 red): 22 psi.
Pressure measurements appear to progress linearly from 0 to 20, no surprise surges or lags.

It's still cool up in the Minneapolis area. The Stealthbomber easily pegs the needle if I'm not careful, then holds somewhere around 18 psi up to the next shift. Whooie, it's fun to have her running well again, and in time for the summer tire season. MANY THANKS to those on the board whose thoughtful ideas and patient advice have helped on this project.

Time for a long, slow breath, then an upgraded turbo and some suspension tweaks.
