I know people had some questions in the past about this and being a conscious consumer I asked the source. I hope these e-mails that I have included will help. My valve should be here in a week. Sorry that this is a little long.

Hello Jamie,

Thank you for your E-mail, Yes the T7 management for the Viggen and the
aero's do suffer with idle problems this is why we will be sending you a two
stage open to atmosphere dump valve. The 2.0 does not suffer the problem but
the HOT should because this has T7 management as well.

There will be no side affects with this two stage one but there would be on
ordinary open types,

Your parts are leaving today,

Thank you and kindest regards,

Giles.

Dear Giles,

Thank you for all of your assistance. This is really great customer
service. I have one other question for you. I have heard that the 2.3
turbo in the Viggen and the Aero has a problem idling with the
atmospheric dump valve, but the 2.0T and the 2.0HOT do not have this
problem. This doesn't sound right to me. Shouldn't it either affect idle
on all models or none? I got this info from your affiliates at
Accelerated Response in Canada. Thanks again.

Dear Jaime

Many thanks for your E-mail.

I believe the dump valve has been ordered and will be leaving here for
Abbott America this afternoon.
We have put a hold on this as we will make you a plug to plug into the
intake system, the dump valve is a two way dump valve and open to
atmosphere
type.

The bung will go into the air flow pipe and will remove the aluminium
pipe,
they normally come with a plug to plug up the aluminium pipe but we will
make this especially for you.

I hope all is well.

Kind regards

Giles Fairweather
