Help Needed on Downpipe Installation!!!

Hey all-
Well, I bit the bullet and bought an Abbott catless downpipe for my 2001 Viggen. I figure, no problem.... just whip off the old one and slap the new one on! 1 hour job max! Yeah right.
I was able to get the old downpipe off almost completely. The only connection to the car that is left is that darn o2 sensor (the one closest to the turbo). I just can't seem to get enough leverage to crank the nut loose!!! The other one came off with little torque...
I have a feeling that because the o2 sensor is right next to the turbo, it gets blazing hot and as a result has frozen the nut. I could just disconnect the o2 wire, but I am afraid I might break something trying to get that off. My other thought was to use an acetylene torch and heat the o2 sensor nut so the metal expands and unfreezes... then I'll give it a good crank. Are there any gas lines down there that I need to worry about?
Any thoughts? Anybody else have this same problem??
Much thanks!!
Tom
