i like the OEM appearance that the DI cassete will give but a wasted spark will work just fine too. first things first....and i have not even gotten to the first thing yet....fix spug. getting closer though. bought the trans bearings and will work on that next week. also picked up a 2.3 head. have to weld it up to make it fit but that't no big deal...extends the project...just how i like it...in progress...not failed to complete..tis a narrow difference ! :)
are you ever going to switch to seqeuntial? it occurred to me that you could make a #1 sensor by drilling a small hole in the dist wheel and mounting a small neodynium magnet just bigger than that on the inside then drill through the cap and put a prox sensor through it. you could balance it by mounting one on the other side without hole for mag flux. not sure what that would do to the injector requirements though. hard to see how a seq inj could deliver 4 times the fuel per rev .vs. 1/4 the fuel over 4 revs. seems like the injectors would have to be huge.
you ready to come back home yet? :)
