off immediately after your "spirited" driving. Shutting it off hot like that will coke the oil inside the turbo and you will trash it. Next time, run the engine at idle for a minute or two to cirulate the hot oil out of the turbo and let it cool down.
On the 3 bar FPR, do you have higher flow rate injectors installed? You may want to go to 28 lb/hr if not. You may also be burning pistons or valves. A bit more fuel will help.
Doing changes to your engine performance may also be a time to add some monitoring gear -- gauges like EGT, A/F meter, and fuel pressure may be called for. Performance is nothing if you destroy the reliability.
I think you're basically on the right track, but worry that you may be hurting the engine too.
If nothing else, remember to run it a minute after a hard drive before turning it off.
