I'll tell you what to do...don't cut them...:)
leave the back springs until satisfied with the front and remember that the suspension is twice as "Active" as front. remove 1/4 as much as you did on fronts to match drop. i do not think you can get 1.5 inches out of spg springs and have it ride well. i'd start by just removing the flat parts . since i doubt you will heating and bending you will see that the don't sit quite right when cut, usable but obviously not quite right. i cut a pair of stock springs and ended up throwing them out. if you cut just the slightest bit too much they are trashed.
that being said...lower is not always better. the stock spg setup is a very good compromise, low body roll but really good travel, it really is quite good when driven "aggressively", esp on city streets with bumps and potholes, huge speedbumps just get skipped over with nary a whimper.
so try removing one piece per side at a time on front only. you will be so sick of doing springs you will never try it again.
