Hi Chris, I'm assuming you mean a '91 SPG? I'm helping the company that bought the old SPG9 web site and we do have big bore throttle bodies available. We use a 7 degree butterfly which helps throttle response with it's more open angle when closed. I always wondered why the C-900's and even the 9000's through '98 have such small butterflies? Then I realized while doing a BBTB for an early 8 valve 900 that Saab just used the early size in the later casting that truly should have had a much larger area. We increase the bore 3.6 mm's, from 55 mm to 58.597 mm so there's no shoulder left before or after the butterfly. These castings are a perfect candidate for going a lot larger as both ends are already so much larger than the original bore so you don't have to do any machining to the intake manifold to make the BBTB fit like most other cars. I don't know of any others that will retrofit an earlier Saab? Hope this helps, Dave
