Hi Paul, great idea but my guess is that in aluminum an a-arm should be forged like I believe the late Vette's are to get the strength. My first thought was 7075 but it's not weld-able and a billet CNC (7075) machined set would be unbelievably expensive. We do have a neighbor that does exotic street rod and all out off road suspension fabrication including awesome a-arms! When we get enough liability insurance in place for these types of products we'll have him do some stronger lighter (boxed) C-900 a-arms in enough volume to keep the price reasonable. This has been something I've always wanted to do because of the way these things break while backing up with the wheels turned all the way. I've never heard of one failing while going forward at speed but it's on my mind while in a fast turn! The ones Saab has that are supposed to be improved don't look much different to me other than the shock mount looks more rigid. The guy I'm helping with this new company is eager to get some great products like this available which is refreshing for me, lots to look foreword to! Take care, Dave
