Eric, the plate is done but needs the 'bump' welded on to clear the ring gear.
I installed the trans with the OEM plate because I ran out of time this week.
There is at least one Saab indie making these plates now, so I don't know how much
longer I will pursue my own design. I'll have to buy one and see whose is better!
After about 100 miles, I can say that the pads have a serious coefficient of friction...
I won't know how good they are until I have the Hoosiers back on, because I keep locking
up the Hakka 1's even in the dry! They sure produce alot of dust though. The PG is
seemless and I'm not sure if it is working. At least I can say that it hasn't screwed anything
up. And the poly A-arm bushings just extend the quick handling yet again. These Hakkas
are kind of dodgy at highway speeds so I will wait until I have my real tire and wheel setup
to make real observations.
