This is hearsay and not based on empirical experience, but in my research of the clutch/PP issue most I asked, including Brad, suggested to stay away from the stickier disks because they tended to be grabby and harder to engage smoothly.

But after my unsavory PP experience I would say that this might be the only way to fly. Be aware that these disks are reportedly thicker than stock, so you may run into a low-pedal-engagement problem like I had. Whether it would be too low as I experienced with the Sachs racing PP and stock disk is a roll of the dice, but I don't think I'd want to risk it. For me, pulling the tranny is too labor intensive for this type of guesswork.

So what do you do with the clutch system when you increase performance over stock? We know the racing PP and stock disk solution results in higher pedal pressure plus a low-pedal clutch engagement at best and an undrivable situation at worst. Someone on the 9K BB tried the SD disk and stock PP, and stated that first it still slipped a bit, but was getting better with time. If it is that close to the threshold of slippage when new I wouldn't think this would be a good solution, though these disks need some run-in time according to SD. Keep in mind that they sell a smaller-diameter disk that reduces grabbiness.
