Salt Lake to Park City sure, but can it handle the San Fernando Valley on a hot August Thursday afternoon driving from Woodland Hills to Studio City?
Seriously, you are correct sir. The water injection system is high on my list of purchases. In the meantime, and since I already bought this 9000 fmic from an 86 scrap car (cost: $15), I'm curious to see what the results are once I custom mount it. I've already drawn up and configured the design for new molded end tanks so this 9000 ic will fit my C900 with minimal loss of air flow and increased cooling efficiency. Theory being that by having more streamlined (certainly not the blunt 90 degree turn as with the existing design) in and out ports, and directing the hot flowing air evenly through the entire internal core passageways, the goal is to provide optimum cooling with less pressure drop because of air flow restrictions.
