Speedparts is a good choice. You get the numbers off of your ECU and they have a plug and play unit programed and sent over which will not require Tech-II integration for a T7 system, which you have. The emissions are not degraded.
One octane point will not kill you. You can help the situtation by eliminating much of the acquired octane demand which is created by combustion camber deposits and poor spray patterns from fouled injectors, by using Techron Concentrate every 8K. And keeping your plugs properly gapped will help too. Suggest .035", which is the current spec for these engines. The 1mm(.039") -.2, +.1 was totally stupid.
See the link. If you have a Sports exhaust now, you can go with stage 1. Stage 1 and 2 are the same ECU software. you will get a new air filter. If you have a K&N now, you might not need the new filter.
