Just returned from Sweden & Maptune

I just returned from a three week stint in Europe which included a weekend trip to Sweden to visit Fredrik at Maptune and a weekend in the UK with some of the boys from that other Europe board to remain unnamed. Fredrik had a couple really nice 9000s. One was his and the other was a friend of his that had basically the same setup. I got a chance to take it for a drive and got it up to about 165mph before I had to back off. Fredrik showed me the software program he has developed to program the T5 and the T7. I have to say that it is a really nice piece of software and lets you adjust all the parameters in a table form and then seen the effect in a 3D chart. Bill Jones in the UK was a great host and I saw a couple usual Saabs at an event they had there. And of course, I was picking up trick parts throughout the entire trip.
As many of you may know, I have sold my 9000 Aero, but am continuing to work on it as the tuner. It is currently undergoing some shop time in preparation for the next level. Among the changes, a upgraded 18T turbo, new injectors, new ECU, high pressure Bosch fuel pump, Greddy gauges, and a host of other things. I will update my page when the results are in. My estimate is 375 to 400HP while holding my current torque level of 425 lbf torque.
Cheers
