My understanding is you basically just need to drive it like you stole it for while it will "learn". I think is sets itself up to only provide the levels of boost it's driver seems to want. It's a way to add life to the engine I suppose.
What I've done is to take the right lane on the freeway, back off and coast down to 45mph or so. Then floor it in 3rd or 4th gear & hold it up to 85 or wherever your comfortable. Do this several times to allow the system to keep allowing slightly more boost each time until it finds the max it can deliver in current weather at current altitude with current fuel etc. Drive hard for 100miles and things should be set.
