I can appreciate that last sentiment. Last Saturday, the electronics-savvy tech at my local (ex-)dealership almost lent me his ISAT tester, but the boss thought otherwise - he ssemed to fear it could blow up...
Took Saabine for two more laps 'around the block' today (can't do much more as the oil cooler line that caused a $270 replacement of the oil filter housing a few weeks ago - I had apparently crossthreaded it - was leaking all over the place last week in the race shop where they did the DI stuff and the guy there said it was again cross threaded, he tightened it so that the leak was gone but God knows how long it'll last before it starts to squirt oil all over the place again - I'll have to take her to the shop for rectification as soon as my parents return from their vacition so I can blag a lift back) and after one or two distinct shudders on trailing throttle when cold she performed faultlessly on my halfway spirited back road drive. Turned up the MBC a bit (was running not much more than basic boost before) and got hooked on the boost again! She's -very- smooth in the higher rpm range now, and boy, does she fly... It -does- hold a promise for when we -really- start to get serious (still a downpipe, maybe an alternative IC set up and rolling road session to go). Raul'd better watch his tail (especially on the less straight bits...) ;-);-) .
