I would in fact call you crazy. The point of the intercooler is that after the turbo heats up the air, the intercooler can help bring it back down towards ambient temperature. If you have a proper intake set up then your N/A car will be seeing intakes temp near ambient temp to begin with. An intercooler should do a good job of robbing your engine of good throttle reponse and some hp.
