Hey guys,

Well, I'm fed up with the APC system. ( : I had the self tweaked APC first, now I have the SPG9 stage 2 APC, but it just has a mind of it's own, very inconsistant. It has been a great system for me with knock protection before I had the fueling system I have, as well as the water injection. I (like Mike) feel very confident with my setup that I will not have a trace of knock at or before 22PSI (the max setting I plan to use with the MBC). I would run 25PSI with my previous Garrett T3-60 turbo, without the APC kicking back boost at all, so since I will be running even less boost, I don't have any worries.

Is there any obvious drawbacks with deleting the APC and going the MBC route?

Would it be necessary for me to go with the dual stage version, or if I just set a single stage unit to 22PSI, would that work just as well? I figure I can control boost via my right foot in town, or is that just positive thinking?

Any information/insight, please!
